Julio Dal Poz

Julio Dal Poz is a Managing Director in the Energy Transition practice at FTI Consulting with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the energy industry and in consulting roles. Julio is experienced in strategy development, M&A advisory, commercial due diligence and implementation of strategic initiatives in the oil and gas, power and renewables markets.

Julio has worked in energy transition and sustainability initiatives in the industry and consulting, and specialises in advising traditional energy firms, specialist renewable developers and investors focused on clean energy, including driving investments and innovation in offshore wind, hydrogen, energy storage, carbon markets and carbon capture, utilisation and storage (“CCUS”).

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Julio was a Senior Strategy Advisor for Corporate Strategy and Innovation at Equinor, responsible for key initiatives including market entry and transaction advisory across different technologies. Julio also has extensive experience as a management consultant working in strategy, digital and innovation projects in Norway, Brazil, the UK and the Middle East.

Julio holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (“UFRJ”) in Brazil and an M.B.A. from the London Business School.
