Lucy C. Lee, RN, MBA, B.M.,PMP

Lucy C. Lee is a clinician by training and has expanded her career in the managerial and consulting arena. For the past 25 years, Ms. Lee has served a wide variety of acute care institutions in the teaching, community and for-profit sectors. Her expertise lies in perioperative and procedural services, workforce and productivity management, anesthesia services, supply cost reduction, resource utilization improvement and revenue enhancement.

As a results-driven people and project manager with a proven record of timely and effective delivery, Ms. Lee has led multiple perioperative efficiency programs to establish systemwide governance structure, improve capacity utilization, streamline patient throughput and build a performance measurement mechanism.

Ms. Lee has managed a variety of cost containment and reduction programs for esteemed healthcare systems. A strong believer in the innovative use of data and technology in hospital management, Ms. Lee has combined the business and clinical aspects of healthcare to create practical solutions that deliver quantifiable and sustainable results.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Lee was a director at Guidehouse/Navigant. She was also a founding partner for a boutique specialty firm based in Stamford, Conn.

Ms. Lee holds an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor of Medicine from Peking University. She has served as a member of the Healthcare Alumni Advisory Board at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She is a certified Project Management Professional (“PMP”). She is also a Certified Surgical Services Manager (“CSSM”). Ms. Lee is an author and a speaker for OR Manager and OR Today.
