Antoine Mialhe is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Antoine heads the Healthcare & Life Sciences practice and is based in Brussels.

For the past 10 years, Antoine has been specializing on EU regulatory policy, research & innovation funding programs targeted to healthcare businesses and the life sciences sector in Europe.

Pressure on national healthcare budgets is growing and it is critical for biopharmaceutical companies to prepare drug launch well ahead of receiving EMA marketing authorization. Brussels is a unique and ideal hub to test and validate ideas and coordinate drug launch in the different EU markets. Brussels is also the hotspot to understand and influence EU decision-making process and stay ahead of the curve on all issues that sooner or later will hit the sector. It is also the best starting point to build your network with Europe’s key stakeholders and influencers, set up coalitions and campaigns to express your perspective and explain your needs to EU and national policy makers.

The Brussels Healthcare & Lifesciences team supports a wide range of organizations including large and mid-size pharmaceutical companies, EU pharmaceutical and biotech trade associations, patient organizations, international and not-for-profit research organizations.

Before joining FTI Consulting Antoine worked 8 years at the Health Department of DG Research and Innovation of the European Commission where he contributed to the launch of several research and innovation programs targeted to healthcare businesses. Prior to this, he worked at Universite Paris Dauphine, developing one of the first crowdfunding platform supporting innovative ideas generation and entrepreneurship.

Antoine is a native French speaker fluent in English with functional German.
