About Hans
Hans Nagl is a Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting and Head of the Munich office.
Mr. Nagl has more than 20 years of experience in journalism, media relations and communications. He joined FTI Consulting in 2011 and advises clients from various industries on special situations, developing and executing 360-degree stakeholder communications programmes. Together with his team, he offers strategic consultancy and operational support to help companies navigate highly complex and often cross-border M&A transactions, corporate crises, distressed situations, and insolvencies. Mr. Nagl leverages in-depth expertise in real estate, Technology, Media and Telecoms, manufacturing, automotive and retail. In addition, he has a special focus on the financial services industry, and he heads the dedicated sector team in Germany.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Nagl worked for major media enterprises in Germany. He started his career as a correspondent for the international news agency Reuters, where he covered the technology, automotive and aerospace industries. In 2005, Mr. Nagl took up the position as head of the banking team at Reuters in Frankfurt. Two years later, he became a senior finance reporter at Handelsblatt, Germany’s most important and influential daily business news publication. For several years, Mr. Nagl has served as a lecturer at the Holtzbrinck School of Journalism as well as at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
Mr. Nagl holds a Diploma in Journalism from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and is also a graduate of the German School of Journalism in Munich.
