About Akihiro
Akihiro Nojiri serves as the head of FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications practice in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Nojiri, drawing upon his extensive and varied background in government, listed companies and communication consultancy, offers strategic advice on navigating complex communication issues related to public affairs, crisis and reputation management, government relations and financial transactions.
Mr. Nojiri has navigated a number of global and domestic clients across a variety of industries, including technology, energy, finance and insurance. He has advised clients on how to handle the complex regulatory environment in Japan and has supported multiple stakeholder engagements for clients’ corporate reputation.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Nojiri was the founder and president of VOX Global Japan, a strategic communications firm. Preceding this role, he was the CFO at a listed company, at which he oversaw all corporate functions. Before entering communication consultancy, Mr. Nojiri held multiple roles within the Japanese Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry, as well as the Financial Services Agency.
