Jorge Del Castillo

Jorge Del Castillo is a Managing Director in the FTI Consulting Strategic Communications practice. He has more than twenty years of consulting experience and has advised multiple clients from the public, private and multilateral sector on projects that have required reputation strategies, public affairs, risk management and crisis management.

Mr. Del Castillo's experience in change management processes, risk mitigation and conflict resolution has been relevant to multiple situations of reputational crisis, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, restructuring process, labor disputes, market entries or closure of operations. and regulatory initiatives that required strategic advice on communications and public affairs.

In Mr. Del Castillo's career, he has supported clients from different sectors like health, financial, food, startups, mining and education. He has worked for clients from different countries, and has been in charge of 'projects with a regional scope. He is currently in charge of the FTI Consulting Affiliate Network in Latin America.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Del Castillo was Vicepresident in Dattis, a Colombian consultancy firm, beginning in 2003. Prior to Dattis, he worked for Burson - Marsteller in Barcelona and Bogota (1999 and 2001)

Mr. Del Castillo is also a university professor and lecturer at Universidad de La Sabana, Universidad Externado and Universidad Sergio Arboleda. Has been curator and speaker coach for open knowledge platforms such as TEDxBogota, TEDxBogotaMujeres and Behance
